Who We Are
Marching Band
Over the past 25 years, the Oakville Marching Band has been honored with more than three hundred individual awards. The band has consistently placed at local competitions and as a finalist at Bands of America Regional and Super Regional events. The Band has participated in events in Hawaii and Washington D.C.
In June of 2019, the band participated in events commemorating the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France. In December 2022, the band participated in competitions, festivals, and a parade that coincided with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta.
In June 2025, the band will travel to Honolulu to participate in the 107th King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade.
Wind Symphony
Wind Symphony has performed at numerous conventions and festivals, including the Western Illinois Showcase of Bands, Bands of America National Concert Band Festival, and the National Concert Band Festival. The band has made several appearances at the Missouri Music Educators Association State Music Conference. The band has traveled to Washington D.C. to perform in the President's Cup National Concert Band Festival with The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own."
Symphonic Band
The Oakville Symphonic Band has been recognized for their depth and quality of sound. They consistently receive high remarks at MSHAA State Band Contests and have received "Gold" ratings at Heritage Music Festivals and "Superior" ratings at the Dixie Classic National Adjudicators Invitational.
Color Guard
The Oakville Color Guard has been recognized during both band and winter guard competitions for their attention to detail and performance excellence. The Color Guard provides an exemplary visual experience for each marching band show.
